Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about cities, admissions, and visas to study English in the U.S.

When can I start the course?
Many schools have frequent intakes (weekly or monthly). We’ll confirm exact dates for your city and level when you apply.
What level of English do I need?
No minimum level is required. You’ll take a placement test and join the class that matches your level—from beginner to advanced.
Can I work with a student visa (F-1)?
With F-1 you may work up to 20 hours/week on campus. Off-campus jobs require special authorization (e.g., CPT/OPT) under specific conditions.
What is the minimum program length?
Short options start at 2–4 weeks. For F-1 programs, most schools require full-time study and terms from 12 weeks or more.
Do you offer housing?
Yes. Depending on the city: homestays, student residences, and apartments. We’ll send options, pricing, and booking timelines.
What’s included in the tuition?
Typically tuition covers enrollment and classes. Materials, health insurance, and housing may be billed separately. You’ll receive an itemized quote before enrolling.
How does the admissions and visa process work?
We help you: choose program/city → apply to the school → receive your acceptance/I-20 → pay required fees → prepare the DS-160 and consular appointment (or change of status if you’re already in the U.S.).
How far in advance should I apply?
We recommend 6–8 weeks if applying from abroad and 3–4 weeks if you’re already in the U.S., to secure your seat, housing, and paperwork.
Can I change cities or transfer to another school?
It’s possible, subject to school policies and SEVIS rules. We’ll guide you to keep your status and complete the process correctly.
Are payment plans or financing available?
Some schools allow module-based or monthly payments. An initial deposit is usually required to issue the I-20. We’ll confirm options for your program.
Do I need health insurance?
In many schools/states it’s mandatory. We’ll share recommended policies and pricing; you may also submit your own plan if it meets requirements.
How do I show financial proof for the F-1 visa?
With recent bank statements (yours or a sponsor’s) covering tuition and estimated living costs. The exact amount depends on the school and city.
